( Deep Chunk F2 x Deep Chunk F2 )
This unique broadleaf from Afghanistan was introduced to Northern California in the latter part of the 1970’s and preserved by Tom Hill. A fast flowering plant with thick stems, short internodes, and excellent resin production of the highest quality. Deep Chunk Select has a moderate yield of very dense chunky buds covered in trichomes. It is a short squat plant but can grow larger with extra veg time.
The smoke is thick and full-bodied. It can have a spicy flavor that is also musky, hashy, and sometimes really rank. Some have a strong chocolate and coffee aroma while others are more fruity and skunky.
This variety is a very narcotic and hard hitting type, as one would expect from a pure blood indica. Likely an excellent pain killer for many people with tranquilizing affects.
Easy to grow, easy to trim. Deep Chunk Select breeds true for many traits and has earned a solid reputation as a valuable tool in many breeding programs.
The seeds that we received from KOS were original F2 genetics that they acquired through a friend, from Tom himself. They have been selected for the most broad leaf possible and the most powerful tranquilizing affects. In doing so, we have brought out the original Afghan genetics that are unlike anything else. A true dinosaur plant. Deep Chunk Select F3 were selected from over 200 plants and open pollinated using 12 females and 3 males.

Male or female deep chunk is amazingly valuable genetics. Especially for us outdoor growers in shorter seasons.
